William Curley’s second shop opened in 2009 and is one of the largest chocolate shops in London. As well as chocolate, it has a patisserie section and small coffee area at the back. Well worth a visit.

The quality of William Curley’s chocolates is truly outstanding. His ‘couture chocolates’ are so good, for example, that they almost feel like you’re not really eating chocolate. I like to think that they rise above the entire concept of calories :)
The cinnamon flavour in his bars of cinnamon milk chocolate has an incredibly distinct, fresh taste that seems to soar above the notes of the chocolate, almost like the upper melody in a symphony. In fact I’m not sure that I’ve ever tasted cinnamon so clearly, without it becoming ‘overdone’. These bars are £3.50 for 50g so not cheap. But worth it.

I like chocolate, as many people do. Over the last 10 years I have come to particularly love chocolate that gives a taste experience and pleasure without making me want to pig out (for obvious reasons).
Until today Booja Booja’s have been my favourite treat. Now I have experienced the fine subtleties of William Curley’s creations and I am a convert.
My favourite so far is the rasberry truffle I found in the medium box. It was raspberry praline with a raspberry chocolate shell. Totally fruity at the same time as a complete chocolate experience. Only one in the box though….
Mmm, perhaps I will need to invest in another box!

I am a chocolate fan and have an appreciation of sweet food. William Curley’s chocolates are simply mind blowing. The tastes are wonderfully sophisticated and original and hit your pleasure centres in a way I have never experienced before! Makes the chocolate I used to think was good seem really naff!
Expensive but really a must if you like chocolate!!

While I have yet to try the dessert bar, William is a multi-award winning chocolatier. His chocolates have won multiple awards and he is a really great guy to boot. The shop has a fantastic atmosphere with passionate staff who really know their stuff.
No matter when you come, the staff will make you feel welcome, serve you extremely well and treat you like you are the only person in the shop. Really fantastic atmosphere, chocolates and experience.
